Hi. We’re Fenris and Koka-Koa. Fenris considers himself a legendary explorer, professional taste-tester, and the genius behind many brilliant ideas. Koka-Koa considers herself the supervisor responsible for making sure those ideas don’t immediately turn into chaos. Together we travel, hike, sniff, investigate, and report back on what’s actually worth your time—and your treats.
Here at FenAndKo, we share the real day-to-day life of adventure dogs as we explore hiking trails, parks, road trips, restaurants, hotels, and dog-friendly destinations. You’ll also find travel stories, honest reviews of places we’ve visited, dog training tips, and the gear that actually survives life with two very opinionated dogs.

A quick note about our adventures: Koka-Koa is a trained service dog and Fenris is currently in training. Because of this, some of the places we visit may not normally allow pets. Any time we are in a non-pet-friendly environment, Koka-Koa is working and Fenris is accompanying us as part of his training. We always encourage readers to check local pet policies and service animal laws before visiting locations with their own dogs.
